Last minute our flights changed and we had to spend a full day in Papeete before heading to Bora Bora. I checked online for things to do and a Tahiti Island circle tour sounded perfect. After trying to quickly find a tour, William was the most responsive and accommodated us perfectly. He came to our hotel early and after picking up others, we had a most informative fun tour with the talented William singing to us, especially Elvis songs. I could even see the resemblance 😉 Definitely recommend Adventure Eagle Tours in Tahiti, a beautiful Island with people who don’t know the word stress
William was very pleasant and informative company as he showed us the points of interest around the Island of Tahiti. We didn’t feel rushed at any time and, as we had booked a personal tour, we were able to stop wherever and whenever we wished, without inconveniencing other tourists.
WE were a group of 12 friends arriving with the Sea Princess for the day and had a wonderful day tour organized by WILLIAM.We had another guide ,very profetional, very pleasent person and spent a wonderful day at The Island. The A/C van was comfertable, the wiews were spectacular-we loved most the waterfalls ,the botanical garden and the caves. The tour was great wormly recomended!!!!!!
We got a half day trip around the island with just the two of us in William’s van for only $100.00. Went to many interesting sites and were told a great deal about Tahiti. He knows a lot about the island and the people. We never felt rushed. Sure enjoyed this tour.
Arranged for William to take 5 of us–and our luggage–on a half day Circle Island Tour of Tahiti. Not only did he pick us up at the ferry terminal and drop us off at the Intercontinental, but he called to make our dinner reservations in Papeete, picked us up again a few hours later to take us there and then at the end of our meal took two of us to the airport and our other three back to the hotel–all at the original agreed upon price for just the tour alone! William has all the information you might ever need about the island and its people, and loves to talk about it and answer questions as he’s driving you around. Highest recommendation!
The best thing we did on the island of Tahiti was to book a private tour with William Leeteg. It was a drive completely around the island (about 73 miles) while William chattered away providing local insight and humor. He picked the three of us up in a small economy car for the ride. It cost $250 in cash. He speaks very good English, having working in Los Angeles as a musician. He encourages you to talk and ask questions. He does not hold back on his opinions about anything, which is very authentic and fun.
We were lucky to find William at the pier when we arrived on the Star Princess in April and enjoyed a four hour tour of the island with William and his son. Only four of us in his van so made stops quick and easy. William knows how to avoid times when the tour buses are different locations so we missed the crowds at most stops. Had toured the island before with another driver but had not seen any of the spots we visited this time. William’s commentary was very informative and we had a great tour.
When the Ocean Princess docked in Papeete (Jan. 18) we needed something to do for the day. Sure, the market was good and the pearls were nice but we wanted to see the lengendary island. The Tourist information center offered a reasonably priced Grand Circle Island Tour (4 hrs,) with Papeete native, William Leeteg, (eagletourguide @gmail.com), as he describes himself, “a friendly english speaking tour guide,” who dispenses advice with a no-nonsense approach to life. In our 72 mile drive, 3 couples, got to see Gaughin’s Museum, (lots of stray dogs and cats), the Blow Hole, (complete with surfers,) a hike to spetacular mountain falls and the caves. Our A/C van was comfortable. William was a delight. Be sure to book him!
